He is already earning well by performing at corporate events. Beyond his exotic image, a scandal involving an anonymous, inappropriate remix of his hit song has also contributed to his popularity.
Thirteen-year-old blogger Vova Solodkov began performing at corporate events after his song "Barabulka" (fish breed) started trending. According to SHOT, the singer with a rare illness charges 150,000 rubles (about $1500) for his private performances.
Hailing from Kerch, Vova was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and is shorter than his peers. Last year, he recorded a track about a barabulka, after which he gained immense popularity, particularly among children and teenagers. He currently has over 3 million followers on social media. A remix that includes a surprisingly inappropriate phrase "e***' babulk'yu" ("F*ck grandma", which sounds in russian very similar to the title of his song) further boosted his track's popularity.
As we discovered, the blogger and singer has already developed a complete program for corporate events featuring songs, creative sketches, and audience interaction. He does not have any special rider requirements. Besides his fee, the rising star only asks for transportation to the event venue. His mother carefully selects clients, as Vova is still a child.
