A 7-year-old girl was tragically struck by two horses in the city of Novokuznetsk, Siberia. The horses, Krik and Rubin, broke free from their owners’ oversight and dashed out of the pasture, leading to a shocking incident in a residential courtyard.
According to reports, the horses were left unattended under the supervision of a teenage girl, who was unable to control them. As they escaped, one of the horses collided with the young girl, who was walking along the street at the time. Fortunately, she sustained only bruises and scrapes.
Authorities have already identified the owner of one of the horses, and one of the animals has been located. Search efforts continue for the second horse. Meanwhile, the owners are facing a minimal fine — just up to 2,000 rubles (approximately $20) — for violating animal grazing regulations.
